This was one of 4 Ads we shot for the McCann Worldgroup advertising agency and their car client General motors.
The shoot took us to the Beyeler museum of modern art in Switzerland, then onto Paris, the Camargue and finally the beautiful green river of the Ardeche in France.
Moscow International Photo Awards
Thrilled to hear Mark Westerby has won two bronzes and a highly commended award in the Moscow International Photo Awards. The awards mission is to recognise, reward and expose talented photographers from around the world and introduce them to the creative community in Russia as well as promote professional photographers on a global level, with marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns to reach millions of potential new consumers.
The jury panel is comprised of an international pool of photography industry professionals from photo editors, art directors, art buyers, gallery owners, curators, publishers and other influential luminaries, including Daria Bonera DB Agency – Milan, Kenneth Zane Leo Burnett – Chicago, and Robert Berman of the Berman Gallery in California.
International Colour Awards
Mark Westerby’s work has been highly commended in the International colour awards. His work which was shot for a car client was recognised in the advertising category.
The event is an international stage to professionals and new emerging talent, the Photo show is the industry’s annual online event honouring the most outstanding achievements in colour photography. Mifa Awards
Two pieces of Mark Westerby’s work have been highly commended. The portraits which were described as conveying both beauty and intrigue were selected for the Mifa International photographic awards.
Mark said: A portrait shoot often has its own energy, you plan it but you never know exactly where it will go, depending on the subject you need to consider their personality and identity which is often the most fascinating part.
